JOHOR BARU: Rape victims have been urged to come forward to lodge police report, with an assurance from the state government that help is there for them.

Johor Women Development and Tourism Committee chairman Liow Cai Tung said victims should not be afraid of public perception that deterred them from voicing up, and they should bear in mind that the state government would be supporting them along the way.
