Gopeng cave closed for fossil study


The Gua Naga Mas cave, where a fossil of a mammal was found will be closed to public for research works.

THE Perak government will close the passage leading to Gua Naga Mas in Gopeng, where a complete fossil of a mammal is embedded in the limestone cave wall, for research.

State Tourism, Arts and Culture committee chairman Tan Kar Hing said the entrance to the cave would be sealed immediately and would stay that way for at least three months.
