Sweet snacks a hit with nine-day festival devotees

CHINESE Taoists observing a vegetarian diet can satisfy their sweet tooth with snacks that can usually be found during the Kew Ong Yeah or Nine Emperor Gods Festival.

Among the sweet delicacies which were a hit among devotees were the koh wah (a kind of sweet delicacy) which came in red bean, pandan and peanut fillings.
