On a mission to feed the less privileged

Adik Shahrul from Yayasan Chow Kit is the first to volunteer to try making lempeng manis.

WHEN Pak Jen Gulai Panas Langkawi first opened in December last year, the founder was on a mission to feed people with good authentic northern Malay food at reasonable prices.

Since then, thousands of people have tasted Pak Jen’s signature gulai panas ikan bawal. Other crowd favourites include dendeng daging, itik golek and wagyu masak lemak.
