Public urged to stop encroaching on other people’s land


During the launch at The Edible Garden Medini City, Tan advised the public to get permission from local councillors for community farming projects.

ISKANDAR PUTERI: The public is advised to refrain from encroaching on state or privately owned land for farming activities as it is illegal to do so.

Johor Local Government, Science and Technology Committee chairman Tan Hong Pin said they should also not engage in any farming activity next to rivers on Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) reserve land.
