THE Endangered Malaysians Project seemed like a bizarre name at first. However, the initiative organised by Maxis with the Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) and Huawei, was a clever word play to foster a sense of inclusion towards endangered wildlife in Malaysia.

To mark the culmination of the project, which was launched on Aug 24, Maxis presented RM25,000 to Perhilitan at Menara Maxis in Kuala Lumpur to support its efforts in protecting and conserving endangered wildlife in Malaysia.
