Residents seek assurance over sewerage project

SEVERAL families living in Taman Desa Aman, Pengkalan Pegoh near Ipoh want a letter of assurance from the contractor carrying out construction work at a sewerage treatment plant project there, to ensure they will be compensated for any loss in future due to incidental damages.

They claimed the project under the Federal Government began in 2016.After piling work started last year, huge cracks appeared in their houses while the drains were clogged with silt.
