Greening the island with more trees

FOUR Penang Island City councillors sponsored 550 trees of various species to be planted in the Batu Lancang area as part of a beautification project.

In years to come, the trees sponsored by Gerald Mak Mun Keong, D. Harvinder Singh, Theng Jie Wey and Shung Yin Ni at a cost of RM49,000 will grow and provide shade.
