Pahang provides RM120,000 allocation for slope repair works

CAMERON HIGHLANDS: The Pahang government is allocating RM120,000 for the hill slope repair at KM42 of the Simpang Pulai-Cameron Highlands road where water came gushing down following a heavy downpour on Wednesday.

State Public Amenities and Infrastructure, Agriculture and Plantations Committee chairman Abdul Yunus Jamhari said the allocation was for short-term repair and cleaning up work as well as long-term stabilisation of the slope to prevent a repeat of the incident.
