GETTING restaurants on board with the ‘No Plastic Straw’ and ‘No Single-Use Plastic’ initiatives is a positive step towards turning Penang island into a zero-carbon city.

Penang Island City Council (MBPP) mayor Datuk Yew Tung Seang said they were currently waiting for the state to finalise the anti-plastic policies before enforcing the rules.
