RM1.9mil raised for the needy

THE 14th charity gala dinner by Malaysian Aeon Foundation (MAF) witnessed a true display of generosity as 1,600 Aeon Group business partners gathered to raise RM1.9mil for the needy.

Among the guests present included Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs deputy minister Chong Chieng Jen who was guest of honour; MAF vice-president and Aeon Co (M) Bhd managing director Shinobu Washizawa and Focus Point Vision Care Group Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Liaw Choon Liang, who served as organising chairman for this year’s gala dinner.
