Babies from needy families can withdraw the cash when they turn 18

THE Yayasan Tuanku Syed Putra (YTSP) Perlis’ Tabung Putra Petri has given 28 babies from needy families a headstart in life by giving them each RM1,000 and RM1,300 which can only be withdrawn when they reach 18.

Raja Puan Muda of Perlis Tuanku Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil handed over the donations totalling RM35,200 to the babies, 11 boys and 17 girls, in the form of savings in Tabung Haji, Amanah Saham Gemilang and Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad.
