Taking on 16km open-sea swim to help Chow Kit kids


Ong is calling for the public to donate RM5 for every kilometre she completes in the Perhentian Island 16KM Marathon Swim on Oct 6.

FORMER national swimmer Angelia Ong, 45, is hoping to gain public support and raise funds for charity when she takes on the Perhentian Island 16km Marathon Swim on Oct 6.

In a recent Facebook post, she wrote about the open-water swim challenge and her desire to raise funds for Buku Jalanan Chow Kit (BJCK), a non-governmental organisation that works to provide equal education opportunities to children in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur.
