Litterbugs the real culprits in flash floods and water disruptions


MELAKA: The act of littering or improper disposal of waste does more harm than create eyesore around the state, the rubbish is also clogging up Melaka’s drainage.

State Transport, Works and Public Amenities Committee chairman Mohd Sofi Abdul Wahab said such irresponsible acts were now the main enemy of the state’s drainage as rubbish that clogged up the system resulted in flash floods and water disruptions.
