SALE of illicit liquor at the back portion of a florist shop in Jalan Maxwell in Pekan Lama Rawang was blocked after Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) enforcement officers searched the store and seized several cartons of liquor and beer bottles.

MPS councillor Ng Wei Keong said enforcement officers acted based on complaints from locals that foreigners were consuming alcoholic drinks purchased from a shop at the back lane of Jalan Maxwell.
