THE Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) recorded its first dengue death this year on Wednesday and MPS councillors have been asked to team up with the council’s health inspectors to visit houses in their areas to educate residents about prevention.

MPS president Suliman Abd Rahman said councillors had been given areas to serve and “it is their duty to visit the neighbourhoods with health inspectors to get the residents to remove potential mosquito breeding sites.
