MOTORISTS who seemed startled at first were smiling soon after when they reached out to accept the national flag and special T-shirts given out in conjunction with Malaysia Day along Jalan Ampang in Kuala Lumpur.

The event, organised by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI), saw its members cheering as vehicles slowed down to accept the flags outside Wisma Chinese Chambers.
