Residents holding a banner and chanting slogans urging the MACC to investigate the land along Jalan Peel that is earmarked for a 45-storey building.
A NON-governmental organisation (NGO) and residents lodged a second complaint on the alleged corruption involving the sale of a plot of land in Jalan Peel, Kuala Lumpur, to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Mind and Social Welfare Society (Complaints bureau) head Tony Tan led a group of 35 people in a peaceful protest outside the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya yesterday. Tan claimed abuse of power in the sale of a strip of land (Lot 810) that was meant to be a road reserve but was being developed into a 45-storey condominium.
