Training youths to do social work

Youths are trained through Kiwanis activities to work with underprivileged children and the less fortunate, which also exposes them to social work from young.

CHILDREN and youths are the pillars of the future, and what better way to teach them compassion than through youth-related programmes.

The Kiwanis Malaysia District has programmes tailored for children and youths in secondary school as well as university level.

K-Kid is a programme by Kiwanis for children at primary level while those in high school and university levels would be part of the Circle K programme.

Social work through Kiwanis teaches them empathy and gives more meaning to life.

Del Castillo (in orange T-shirt) says Kiwanis’ long-term goal is to have a club in each city in the country and reach out to more people.
