COME savour Latin American and Caribbean cuisine, music, arts, craft and culture at the Latin American Festival.

The 10th Latin American Festival will be held at Plaza Low Yat and BB Park in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur on Sept 23 from 11am to 6pm to celebrate the friendship between Malaysia and the nations of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Jointly organised by the Group of Latin American and Caribbean Countries (GRULAC), the event in collaboration with Plaza Low Yat, Federal Hotels International and the Latin Women’s Association of Malaysia, is supported by Kuala Lumpur City Hall.

The participating embassies are Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela.

Each embassy will offer a taste of its culture in terms of food, music, dance, arts and crafts, taking the public on a culturally-infused journey of what Latin America is about.

Other activities include face painting, photo booths, tourism information on Latin American and Caribbean countries, and a lucky draw featuring the grand prize of a round-trip to Colombia.

Proceeds from the festival will go to the Spastic Children’s Association of Selangor and Federal Territory.
