TRAVELLERS who booked the “Lifetime Experience in Arctic Circle” tour package travelling on Jan 18, 2019 are in for a treat.

Popular Malaysian television personality Gan Jiang Han will join them on the tour as they hunt down the northern lights in Norway/Finland.

The ambassador for this Arctic Circle tour by travel agency Parlo Tours, together with other travellers, are set to go on a special 9D/7N tour to witness the breathtaking aurora borealis phenomenon.

“I am really looking forward to this trip. It will be my first experience travelling to this polar region.

“This affordable tour package offers everyone the opportunity to witness the miracle of Mother Nature – a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” said Gan.

Holiday-goers joining the tour package can look forward to interesting activities such as spending a night in a unique glass igloo, ice fishing safari on Lake Inari, meeting polar bears and visiting the Santa Claus office.

Gan added that he was excited to meet new people, and looked forward to taking a lot of pictures together.

When asked about the crazy things he would do during the trip, he joked, “Who knows, I may jump into the cold water!”

Gan was at the Parlo Tours booth at Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair September 2018 in Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

Those who purchased the package will receive free gifts worth RM488, said Parlo Tours Sdn Bhd Europe Tour manager Zaf Lau.

“We are giving away a premium 24-inch hard-case luggage and a tailor-made luggage case cover with an aurora image and personalised name printed on it.

“On top of that, they will receive a heat-sensitive, colour-changing mug with a picture of the aurora lighting up when hot water is poured into it,” he said.

The mug will serve to be a good reminder of the memorable trip for the travellers.

Parlo Tours has been offering the Arctic Circle tour packages for the past four years, having organised more than 100 tours.

Besides Norway/Finland, the travel agency is offering three other different packages this time around, to cater to customers with different preferences in catching the northern lights.

They are the “Iceland & Scandinavia Aurora Experience” (Norway/Iceland/Sweden), “Russia & Aurora Experience” (Moscow/Murmansk/St Petersburg) and another “Lifetime Experience in Arctic Circle” (Norway/Finland/ Sweden).
