Sixth run of fright fest creeping up

Sunway Lagoon’s Nights of Fright is back to haunt visitors from Sept 28 until Halloween on Oct 31.

LEGEND has it that for one month every year, Sunway Lagoon is a truly frightening place to be, what with the return of Sunway Lagoon “Nights of Fright 6 (NOF6), Scarier Than Ever”!

From Sept 28 until Oct 31, the sixth consecutive instalment of Sunway Lagoon’s NOF6 brings together eight haunted houses, four scare zones and a plethora of activities to provide a fully immersive experience that is all trick, and no treat!

Thrill seekers can step into Wendigo – The Legend in the Mist. In folklores, Wendigo appears as an evil cannibal-like spirit that devours mankind. They are said to have an insatiable hunger for human flesh.

Meanwhile, those who have an inexplicable fear for clowns can confront their worst nightmares at the Phobia: Coulrophobia – The Fear of Clowns, a place where clowns will give people the creeps but with only one way out of there.

At Slaughterhouse 13, visitors can stop by at a long abandoned slaughterhouse and meat-packing plant to uncover a murder mystery.

Expect apocalyptic mayhem at Zombie Zoo with out-of-control humans and animals eager to terrorise guests at an underground zoo deep inside a mountain.

Visitors longing for ghost stories may head down to the Scarytales Theatre and sit inside a dimly-lit house in circles.

There, storytellers will spin chilling tales of the pontianak, toyol and pocong with sounds that might haunt listeners long after they have left the place.

Come visit the Horrowood Studios Wax Museum of Monsters to meet the scariest movie characters of all time such as Jason, Freddy, Billy, and Michael Myers.

Visitors can also surround themselves with a thousand faces at Ghost Face – The Face to Make You Scream in UV3D!

Finally, revellers can face the curse of the witches when rituals go wrong at Jampi where you get to meet the Salem witch, Malay dukun, Indian witch, and Chinese witch while they chant mantras and perform rituals.

For those who seeking the twisted pleasures of pain, enter the Enclave of Torture where visitors are promised a brush with the closest representation of brutal mutilation.

NOF 6 comes to life at 7.30pm – 11.30pm every Friday – Sunday from Sept 28 to Oct 31.

Tickets are priced at RM52 (early- bird tickets from now until Sept 15 2018) and RM69 (normal price).
