Port Dickson has several popular beach stretches which are packed with holidaymakers during weekends and school holidays.

SUN, sea and sand await nature lovers this November as Metro Adventure Club will be hosting its next Go Outdoors event in Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan.

Many of the happy campers from its last event in Janda Baik, Pahang, asked organisers to shake things up for the next event, so the club decided to end the year with a splash.

The camp will be held at a private beach in Port Dickson, offering friends and families an opportunity to relax and bond by the seaside.

Guests can expect the usual line-up of family-friendly activities and competitions but this time with a nautical twist.

The Tanjung Tuan lighthouse, built in 1860, is the oldest such structure in Malaysia.

Seasoned outdoor professionals will be on hand, conducting workshops and running activities, ideal for those who want to answer the call of the wild but do not know where to start.

One of the activities will be a nature walk up to one of Port Dickson’s more popular destinations, Cape Rachado.

The two-day, one-night camp will be held on Nov 11 to 12.

There will be a special package for families so watch this space in the coming weeks for more details.
