Penang gets to build more PPR homes

PENANG has received the green light to build People’s Housing Project (PPR) in all five districts in the state, announced state Housing, Town, Country Planning and Local Government Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo.

Jagdeep, describing the move as ‘positive’ said this was following a letter from Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraidah Kamaruddin to Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow on July 31 asking the state to identify land for the PPR homes to be built.
