BALAKONG (N27) is a Chinese-majority state constituency comprising a mix of Chinese new villages, modern neighbourhoods, new commercial areas and industrial zones.
The densely populated constituency, together with Kajang and Sungai Ramal, make up the Bangi parliamentary constituency, which has the biggest number of voters in Selangor during the 14th General Election.
