Don’t toy with child safety

THE Road Safety Department (JKJR) has found many children still using toy helmets when riding pillion on motorcycles without realising the risks involved.

Penang JKJR director M. Thurkahthevi said the children’s parents were probably unaware of the availability of child helmets in the market with their safety endorsed by Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (Sirim).
