Bring your own bags, cutlery

Plastic bags will not be provided unnecessarily at the festival, says Yeoh.

THE Penang Street Food Festival 2018 in George Town is going green and visitors have been urged to bring along reusable bags, tiffin boxes, reusable straws and cutlery.

State Tourism Development, Heritage, Culture and Arts Committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin urged those coming to the two-day festival on Saturday and Sunday from 5pm to 11pm to minimise the usage of plastic bags and straws.
