WITH the redesignating of the one-way stretch on Jalan Sultan Ismail near Sungei Wang Plaza in Kuala Lumpur into a two-way road on Aug 12, motorists are now caught in a heavier crawl than usual.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) civil engineering and urban transportation department director Abdul Hamid Surip said the move was in effort to disperse the traffic from the city centre faster, especially during peak hours in the evening.
