Open burning near the 275kV Mambong-Engkilili transmission lines on Aug 15 caused power interruptions to some parts of Kuching.
KUCHING: Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) will take action against those causing fires through indiscriminate or illegal open burning near power facilities.
SEB group chief executive Sharbini Suhaili said they would not tolerate such activities as it could compromise the operations and safety of electrical facilities and trigger supply interruptions.
