Meeting the people tops their agenda

The Balakong by-election will be the first time MCA is fielding its party logo, a 14-point star on blue, in an election.

DESPITE the hot weather, which is expected to last until the end of the month, nothing is stopping the two candidates in the Balakong by-election from going all out to win the hearts and minds of voters in the Selangor state constituency.

Even on Nomination Day, both MCA’s Tan Chee Teong and Pakatan Harapan’s Wong Siew Ki from DAP were already on the campaign trail meeting constituents just a few hours after the official announcement by the Election Commission.
