PETROSAINS is hosting a forum tomorrow in an effort to ensure that youths are well-informed about the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its challenges, concerns and changes.

Entitled “Future Proofing You: Thriving in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”, it aims to provide them with a meaningful discourse with a panel of speakers.

They will learn about the challenges and opportunities in a rapidly changing future driven by automation, the Internet of things, big data and artificial intelligence, among others.

The panel consists of industry bigwigs Azran Osman Rani, Adam Brimo and Quek Sue Yian who will address the ever-changing demands brought on by the revolution, and how youths can have an innovative edge to accelerate growth and make significant progress.

Azran is chief executive officer and co-founder of Naluri Hidup Sdn Bhd, a behaviour science company that uses artificial intelligence, data science and digital design to provide cost-effective and accessible digital health psychology services to address chronic illnesses.

Through this series, a new thought leadership offering from Petrosains, Tengku Nasariah said they hope to provide audiences with a platform to engage in intellectual and meaningful discourse on current and critical issues.

“As Petronas’ corporate social responsibility arm in education, it is our responsibility to encourage the community to embrace STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and have a deeper appreciation for its value for progress, while helping to nurture critical thinkers in the nation,” she said.
