Revised cost for highway to be revealed soon

SIBU: The Works Ministry will announce in due course the new cost for the construction of the 2,325km Pan Borneo Highway once negotiations with the main contractor, LBU (Lebuhraya Borneo Utara Sdn Bhd) are completed.

Minister Baru Bian said ministry officials had met with representatives from both the Finance Ministry and LBU on how the construction cost could be lowered.
