PERTH’S healthy lifestyle, world-class universities and proximity to Asia makes it a good place for Malaysians to treat the city as a second home.
Western Australian property developer Finbar Group recently launched the Sabina apartments project in Applecross – a picturesque riverside suburb less than 10km from the Perth CBD.
Estimated to be completed in 2020, this A$128mil development comprises 173 luxurious apartments in a 30-storey building with resort-style amenities.
Finbar chief operations officer Ronald Chan says Sabina apartments are priced from A$410,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and A$870,000 for a three-bedroom apartment.
Facilities include a 25m heated lap pool, gym, sauna, games area, cinema, electric car charging station, car wash bay, and a lobby staffed by a resident concierge and building manager.
“For overseas purchasers, it is an opportunity to have a holiday home, for investment or to house children for education in this affluent and safe area,” he says.
With a median house price in excess of A$1.2mil, the Applecross suburb is in high demand for affluent families, couples and professionals given its three river frontages, popular retail and dining precinct and ease of access to the Perth CBD via the Kwinana Freeway.
One of the key draws to this suburb is its walking, cycling and running trails and marine recreation options along the Swan River and Canning River.
Some of Perth’s most expensive homes are located along these scenic river frontages.
The marketer for Sabina apartments is Rescom Australia Sdn Bhd.
