In dire need of parking space

A familiar scene in many areas in Ampang, where business operators place obstructions on public parking bays to ’book’ the space for themselves.

PUBLIC parking lots are precious commodity in an increasing automotive environment. This has resulted in constant jostling for space especially in business-centric areas.

Most business operators who want to provide easy access to their premises are willing to pay for reserved parking bays but in some municipalities, the local council’s quota system makes it difficult for them to get even one bay.
