Paying zakat awareness on the rise in Pahang

KUANTAN: The awareness on fulfilling zakat or paying tithes in Pahang has increased this year, said Pahang Regent Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.

He said as of July 31, a total of 76,105 zakat contributors had made payments amounting to RM70.5mil compared to 73,320 people last year.
