ALTHOUGH the number of dengue cases has reduced significantly in Perak compared to last year, the state government will continue to step up operations in its efforts to eradicate the disease.
State housing and local government committee chairman Paul Yong Choo Kiong said a total of 1,739 dengue cases were reported in the state from January to July this year, compared to 4,318 cases for the same period last year.
