SOROPTIMIST International Club (Penang) will use the proceeds from its Good Seconds sales to help students from families with a monthly household income of less than RM3,000.

“There are scholarships and grants for bright academic students. However, there is a shortage of financial assistance for students and single mothers in need of support to pursue studies in a vocational or technical institute or training centre, so that they can start a practical career in hairdressing, dress making and baking courses.
