Kulai council to fund drainage upgrade


Flooding in the district is one of the issues brought up at the MPKu full board meeting on Monday.

KULAI: The Kulai Municipal Council (MPKu) will allocate RM1.6mil from its improvement service fund (ISF) to improve the drainage system in the flood-prone district.

Council president Mohammed Shakib Ali said flooding problems along the road towards Kota Tinggi, especially in Taman Cantik, Taman Mewah and Taman Emas had been going on for around six years.
