The Perak Forestry Department is thinking of turning part of the Kledang-Saiong Forest Reserve into a recreational area.

THE Perak Forestry Department is mulling a temporary closure of Bukit Kledang, one of the most popular outdoor spots among Ipoh folk, to allow its natural ecosystem to recover.

As frequent public visits and man-made trails leading to the peak have caused damage to the permanent forest reserve, the temporary closure is necessary.
