Minister: Make Sibu famous for cultural performances

SIBU: Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah wants the town to be known as destination for cultural dances from all over the world by elevating the annual Borneo Cultural Festival (BCF) to become the Borneo World Culture Festival (BWCF).

The BCF, which ended on Saturday, was held for the 15th edition and is currently the largest cultural event in the central region.
