A total of eight people tested positive for drug abuse during a raid on four establishments in Kuala Lumpur on Friday night during the 45th “Banteras Aktiviti Haram” Operation (Ops Bah) carried out by the FT Ministry and the police.
Of 110 people screened, five males and three females tested positive for cocaine and ganja.
Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad said there might be a need to review existing laws so that they could be more effective in weeding out social ills.
