Deserving students to be rewarded with scholarships

KOTA KINABALU: The state government, through Yayasan Sabah, will be offering RM10mil worth of scholarships to students who excelled in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia to pursue higher education this year.

Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the financial assistance will benefit at least 5,000 outstanding students, including children from underprivileged families.
