Local councillors to be named this week

ALL the district, municipal and city councillors in the state will be sworn in by this week.

State Housing, Local Government, Public Transport, Non-Islamic Affairs and New Villages Committee Chairman Paul Yong Choo Kiong said the state government wants all the swearing-in ceremonies to be done this week to allow the councillors to begin work.
