The first few years of a child’s life is crucial for cognitive, emotional and social development and as parents, supporting their healthy development with the right nutrition is important.

Also present at the event was consultant paediatrician and paediatric cardiologist Dr Yong Junina, who also conducts developmental assessments using the Griffiths Mental Development Scales.
She shared the role parents can play to further support children’s cognitive development and encouraged them to boost their children’s smartness by allowing them to play with building blocks or bricks, which allow kids to unleash their imagination and invent without limitation.
“Parents should join in the fun and combine playing building blocks with storytelling as such activities drive creativity and divergent thinking, not to mention social and language skills too,” she said,
Sharing stories of growing up with Dutch Lady milk were Dutch Lady formulated milk powder for children brand ambassadors Scha Alyahya with her four-year-old daughter Lara Alana.
