THE state government will keep tabs on telecommunica-tion companies (telco) that instal transmitter towers but do not pay licence fees to the local authorities.
State Communications, Multimedia, Non-Govern-mental Organisation and Cooperative Development Committee chairman Hasnul Zulkarnain Abd Munaim said the estimated total licence fee arrears for the transmitter towers now stood at RM1.7mil.
