MIRI: Three days of heavy rain helped provide clean water for more than a thousand people in interior Marudi district in northern Sarawak who were facing a water crisis.

The rural folk living in Puyut, Lubok Nibong, Rumah Entawal, Rumah Philip, Rumah Merikan and along Sungai Sebatang settlements saw their water tanks replenished from the downpour.
