TRAFFIC MATTERS

There will be inner road diversions at Jalan Kelicap 42A from today until Sept 8 to facilitate drainage relocation works at Jalan Kelicap 42A and Jalan Meru, in Klang for the LRT3 project.

The diversions are as follows:

• Phase 1 (July 11-31): Diversion of inner road in front of Hong Leong Bank, Jalan Kelicap 42A, Klang.

• Phase 2 (Aug 1-Sept 8): Temporary closure of the carpark in front of KFC (facing Jalan Meru).

HEALTH CAMPAIGN

Allianz Malaysia will take its Allianz Discover A-Z campaign to several locations in the Klang Valley for the next few weeks to help Malaysians discover their insurance needs. The public will learn about life and general insurance protection plans. Activities will be carried out at Sunway Pyramid today until July 15 with complimentary health screenings (cholesterol, blood pressure, sugar level and Body Mass Index checks) as well as some fun games and contests to win attractive prizes.

MOBILE COUNTER

Shah Alam on Wheels will operate from the carpark of Tesco Setia Alam, Section U3, Shah Alam on July 14 from 11am to 5pm. Payments and checks on assessment fees, compounds, and purchase of parking coupons can be made at the mobile counter.

BASKETBALL CAMP

Jr. NBA Malaysia, presented by Dutch Lady, will hold its Regional Selection Camp on July 21 and 22 at IGB International School. The free basketball camp will give young aspiring basketballers aged 10 to 14 a chance to get into the final stage, which is the National Training Camp. The selection camp includes basketball drills, skill stations and scrimmages. Top performers at the National Training Camp will be one step closer to being crowned the next Jr. NBA Malaysia All-Star and embark on a once in a lifetime NBA experience trip alongside other Jr. NBA All-Stars from South-East Asia. The Rockwills Group will hold a charity drive for Rumah Kasih in Taman Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, until Aug 10.
