Poll shows Dudong SUPP members want party to leave Barisan

SIBU: The majority of Dudong Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) have voted in favour of the party leaving Barisan Nasional and joining Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS).

The balloting was held at its extraordinary general meeting for members to voice their views, as there were complaints that party central committee did not consult grassroots members when it made the decision last month to leave Barisan and subsequently joined GPS.
