BANDAR Rimbayu by IJM Land Bhd offers nature and simplicity inspired by a need for a safe, basic and supportive neighbourhood.

Spanning across 0.4ha, the township is surrounded by lush greenery incorporating residential, commercial, recreational and parkland components.

At a Hari Raya gathering in Kuala Lumpur, newly-appointed Bandar Rimbayu senior general manager Chai Kian Soon shared updates on its recent developments of the award-winning township.

Also present were IJM Land Bhd managing director Edward Chong, and local artiste Datuk Sheila Majid who entertained the crowd over lunch.

Chai said their master plan development involved many green features.

“We are working towards sustainability and incorporating green features into the plans,” he said.

In support of the government’s goal to create more affordable homes for Malaysians, Bandar Rimbayu has introduced its Halaman 11 project for lower-income communities comprising two types of homes, each with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

“Affordability is an issue so we have homes for families with a monthly income of below RM3,000, and for those earning between RM3,000 and RM10,000.”

A commercial area with more than 40 shoplots has been built in Bandar Rimbayu too.

“Our main concern is accessibility to daily necessities.

“Restaurants, clinics and convenience stores will all be within their reach,” said Chai.

Located within Bandar Rimbayu is American-based education institution, Oasis International School, offering a range of curricular and co-curricular modules.

The school will be ready for its first intake registration from Aug 1.

The Rimbayu Clubhouse will be officially opened by January next year. It will include an Olympic-sized pool, children’s wading pool, four badminton courts, two squash courts, a double-storey gymnasium, sauna, jacuzzi, cafeteria and two entertainment rooms.

“A drive-through Wendy’s and Starbucks will open by the second half of 2019.

“Bandar Rimbayu will soon have space for more families. With affordability, accessibility and sustainability in mind, we have thought of almost every living aspect.
