Sarawak to make regulatory adjustments for O&G industry

SIBU: The regulatory adjustments for all oil and gas (O&G) industry entities involved in exploration, prospecting and mining petroleum will be re-tabled at the upcoming state assembly sitting from July 9 to 18.

Speaking at Malaysian Muslim Welfare Organisation (Perkim) Hari Raya gathering, Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah said the Sarawak Oil Mining Ordinance 1958 (OMO) will be tabled again at the sitting where it will be deliberated and passed before it can be made enforceable.
